Meet the Crew Behind Keen As Tyres

Keen As Tyres is a family-run business built on experience, reliability and straight-up good service.

After more than 22 years in the tyre industry, Shaun made the call to go out on his own and bring that experience to South Canterbury. The goal was simple. Build a business that puts people first and delivers the kind of service that’s getting harder to find.

These days we’re running between our Washdyke workshop and jobs out on the road, helping farmers, contractors, transport operators and everyday drivers keep moving. We’re not always sitting still, and that’s exactly how it should be.

Shaun brings decades of hands-on experience across everything from passenger vehicles to heavy machinery, with a strong focus on repairs, safety and doing the job right the first time. If it’s round and holds air, he’s probably worked on it.

Rachael keeps the business ticking behind the scenes, managing bookings, customers and the day-to-day running of everything, making sure nothing gets missed and everyone gets looked after.

We’re a local family backing our community. Supporting locals, showing up when it matters and building relationships that last.
