Returns & Refund Policy
At Keen As Tyres, we stand by our products and workmanship. This policy is in line with your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
Your Rights
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you are entitled to a remedy if a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee (for example, if it is faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described).
Where required, we will repair, replace or refund in accordance with the Act.
Tyres & Products
- Tyres may be returned if they are unused, unmounted and in original condition, subject to approval.
- Special order or non-stock items may not be eligible for return unless faulty.
- Any approved returns may be subject to a supplier restocking fee.
Fitting & Services
- Labour and service charges (including fitting, call-outs, diagnostics and repairs) are non-refundable once the service has been completed, unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
- If you believe a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, please contact us so we can assess and resolve the issue.
Faulty or Defective Goods
If a product supplied by us is faulty or fails prematurely, we will:
- Inspect the product
- Work with our supplier where required
- Provide a remedy in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act
This may include repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the fault.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind on:
- Fitted tyres
- Completed services
For unused products, returns may be considered at our discretion.
Commercial Use
Where goods or services are supplied for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply where permitted by law.
