Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to all goods and services provided by Keen As Tyres. By engaging our services or purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Services
We provide tyre supply, fitting, repairs, mobile call-out services and related support.
We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in NZD and may include GST unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
- For account customers, payment terms will be as agreed (e.g. 7 days or 20th of the month following).
- Late payments may incur interest and/or recovery costs.
3. Call-Out Services
- Mobile call-outs are available 24/7.
- Call-out fees apply outside normal business hours and will be advised where possible.
- Travel charges may apply depending on location.
4. Bookings & Availability
- Workshop visits are by arrangement, as we are often working off-site.
- We will make every effort to meet agreed timeframes but delays may occur due to workload, weather, supplier availability or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must provide accurate information about the vehicle, tyres and issue.
- Safe and reasonable access must be provided for mobile work.
- We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe.
6. Tyres & Repairs
- All tyres and repairs are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- We will advise whether a tyre is safe to repair or requires replacement.
- Where a repair is carried out, no guarantee is given that further damage will not occur due to the nature of tyre wear and usage.
7. Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, downtime or business interruption.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act where applicable.
8. Commercial Use
Where goods or services are supplied for business purposes, the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act may be contracted out of as permitted under the Act.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
- Once work has been completed, labour and service charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Product returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.
10. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used only for the purpose of providing services and will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy laws.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
